In terms of business and creativity I feel that my main product-being my video and my ancillary tasks being the website and CD digipack, combine really well together, I have taken into consideration of the meaning of impossible and what everyone's opinions of it is, and everyone's opinions of impossible is overrated.
Both pieces of my ancillary tasks compliment the song in a way because the album is of her at the end of the video with her arms wide open, she has achieved her goal and she's over looking the town of were she lives ontop of a big hill, this expressions shows that she is waiting for more challenges to be thrown at her, this is the same on the website, so this combines with the video really well.
The distribution of my product will be done in similar ways, as all three of them will be put up online such as YouRube there are also sneak peaks of the video on my website linked to YouTube there are links on my website linked to Facebook and Twitter so basically anyone can take a look, the CD will also be put on ITunes and Soundcloud for those with iPhones and androids these are all popular streaming sites, te CD will also be put up in shops, this is how effective my video will come across and also how effectively easy the audience can access it. Social media plays a big role in society there for it is based round online and suits my target audience.
As you can see here both my ancillary tasks link in with my video because they both show the same setting of where some of the music video is shot, I have used these photos because again it shows determination and also lonliness of this small girl in this big world, the pose of her arms open wide on my website below show that she is ready to take on the world.
The release of my song into the modern media environment would require all of the things that I have created for this project. A video would be most needed to advertise on music channels such as the popular MTV or VIVA and also YouTube again, a CD single would be required so that people can listen to it anywhere if they don't have the internet, this is ideal if older teens can drive, they can purchase the CD to play in their car. The website is the one that would promote it all because it can promote the CD release and indirectly it would promote the video.
